Gaza: In the latest wave of violence in southern Gaza, Israeli forces bombed a home in Bani Suheila, killing at least three Palestinians, according to reports.
This attack follows the previous day’s escalation, where 33 people were reportedly killed across the Gaza Strip. The assault on residential areas reflects an ongoing pattern of intensified strikes throughout the region.
Meanwhile, in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, rescue teams are working through rubble after a U.S. airstrike reportedly hit a busy market area. Houthi-affiliated media report at least 12 deaths and over 30 injuries. The attack caused widespread damage to buildings and commercial shops. The strike is part of a broader U.S. military offensive that began in March, targeting the Houthi group, also known as Ansar Allah. The humanitarian situation in both Gaza and Yemen remains dire, with civilians bearing the brunt of prolonged conflict.
Adding further pressure, Israel's government is reportedly considering re-arresting hundreds of Palestinian prisoners released earlier this year under a temporary ceasefire deal. This move aims to pressure Hamas into accepting a new version of the truce.
